Jenny up the Hill is a gift shop and exhibition space for contemporary art on the Greek island of Syros. In the shop you find a selection of products from contemporary Greek designers. Next to that, Jenny brings exhibition of contemporary art to Syros with a special focus on painting. Our current exhibition Paint Bordies runs till 31 May, 2026 with works by Mark Lammert, Sofia Simaki and Judith Zillich.
You find us in Ermoupoli, the capital of the Cycladic Islands, right in the center, steps away from the main square and the port. We are open six days a week from 11 am till 3 pm. In the summer we also open in the evenings.
Autumn 2026 Jenny will launch its first painting course: a one week workshop watercolor, where participants will get to know the island through plein air classes on different sites, and delve deeper into their practice through critique meetings. More info here
